Well, it leads to the same result. If we don't want to continue getting s**t on for being too smart, it's necessary to become more vocal and less nice. Nice protests have failed repeatedly over the last thousand years.

Our moral background is secure. We were nice at first. We were nice, for a very, VERY long time. If we get aggressive, even if just verbally and politically, the history books, if we are the victor [for history is written by the victor], will look favorably upon us, and we shall be lauded for our initial restraint, and vindicated in our aggression when at last it finally came.
