It's a ridiculous argument. When something seemingly miraculous happens, it was an answer to prayer. When something bad happens, despite prayer, it's all part of God's plan, or God doesn't want to intervene with free will. What a crummy plan that involves thousands of kids starving every day, many children being kidnapped, raped, and murdered, and atrocities like the holocaust.
