I do hope, however, while they go about taking some imagined stand, they don't say things like "we atheists," because I'm not part of any atheist club and , if I was, I would make it clear that the club and atheism are two very different things.
Then shouldn't you be in favor of the "Bright" rebranding. The politically active, unified, anti-religion crusading atheists can refer to themselves as brights and you can continue referring to yourself as an atheist without any worry of assumed association.
