I've personally coined a truism for people who can't seem to grab the reins on gender differences:
Equality does not require interchangeability.
Men and women have different body parts. We have differently wired brains. There are differences in the behaviors overall, though stereotypes don't always apply. Get the fuck over it.
None of this implies one is "superior" to the other. Difference doesn't preclude equal treatment under the law. It doesn't preclude different sexual orientation. It doesn't preclude exceptions to the rule, androgyny or alternate sexual identity. It just is what it is.
You can't celebrate diversity by trying to crush it out of existence.
