So when I said 'it would help your case a bit if this were actually true' I was talking about Mark having an account of the resurrection. I wasn't disputing the fact that Mark ends at 16:8. On the contrary, because it ends at 16:8 all we're left with is an empty tomb and some young man claiming that Jesus is risen. That's it... hearsay from this young man and not an actual account of a risen Messiah.
