To have been an authentic Christian means that even though you changed your position, you would not deny that Christ is who he says He is. The arrogance falls on you brother, I'm just relating the truth, if it bothers you then quit reading my post. This is the No True Scotsman fallacy again. Practically what you're saying is that a true Christian is one that will die a Christian. Is it also true that a true Christian's desires will be that of God's, that they will preach the Gospel through actions, that they will pray and also seek to better understand the Word (to name a few things)?
Yes mostly, as I said one could believe and then reject Christ yet not deny who He says He is. Yes, we should, but because of our humanity we fail more than we should.
What's the difference between "rejecting" Christ and "denying" what he claims?
