Theists, what do you mean when you say 'holy'?

For the purpose of this thread you can assume your own religion / belief system is true. I'm just interested in what you consider 'holy' and what that means if something / someone has that as an attribute.

I think that in day-to-day life we seem to accept these principles:

(1) A person deserves an increasing degree of respect as his degree of knowledge increases.
(2) A person deserves an increasing degree of respect as his degree of power increases.
(3) A person deserves an increasing degree of respect as his degree of moral perfection increases.

According to my belief system, holiness is (roughly speaking) the degree of respect deserved by an entity which is all-knowing, all-powerful, and morally perfect, under principles (1)-(3).
