Which is pretty ironic for a cult which ran around burning witches and heretics for 1,000 years. They like pretty stories about jesus but obviously they think he was something of a shmuck.
Anyway, I'm reading Ehrman's "Forged" at the moment and he makes the same point about the attaching of a famous name to a text in order to give it instant credibility to the dolts.
