Every day I say things that no one else has ever said. I know it's already been said, but it's actually the case that it isn't Jesus but me who is the only way to heaven and to a right relationship with God. If I put that in a book and a big religion results, will that make it more true?

Of course, anyone can make this claim. If it was actually true that no one else could make it, THAT would be evidence for your claim.

I don't think it's the case. Should it actually be the case, the most reasonable explanation would be that out of all the people who have claimed to speak for God, he was the only one with the chutzpah to tell everyone that if they didn't worship him they'd burn and not be forgotten.

What's sad is someone thinking it's okay to start off by claiming that the only way to escape damnation is to agree with them, but 'bad' words are too rude to tolerate.
