You know, because I'm comfortably agnostic now I tried praying again about something that was really immediately concerning and important to me but... I still feel nothing, I just feel like I'm talking to myself. I even asked for any kind of sign that I wasn't, and nothing happened ._.

You know, it just so happens that I can explain that as well. You were. On a more elaborate note, let's suppose that you did "get a sign" (the thought of a deity in the sign business..hehehe). So what? People get their signs all the time, I'm not so cynical as to assume that each and every one of them are lying through their teeth. Trouble is, if you go looking for something you're sufficiently invested in you're most likely going to find it.....even if it isn't there.
