I don't think anyone said that Moros. I didn't, nor did I mean to imply any such thing. IN THIS CASE: the father catches a man actually raping his 5 year old child and instinctively protects her,one of THE most basic human instincts.. That he rang 911 to get the guy help suggests he did not intend to kill him. He committed neither murder nor manslaughter in my opinion. The authorities in question agree.


I have no problem with the death penalty for say raping and/or killing a child or committing murder for personal gain,IN PRINCIPLE. However,I do not support it in practice only because a safe conviction cannot be guaranteed.
