I thought you were smart, guess you like causing controversy, instead of being rational.
There are a couple of problems with your argument.
First: I agree that by the time Jesus is reported to have trapsed around, the idea that the Earth was spherical was well known. This is more damning for your case since you have yet to refute why the Bible repeatedly indicates it was flat. If you want to drag out the arguement that the Devil and Jesus are/were so powerful for us to comprehend, then what need was the mountain to see the kingdoms? As powerful as you describe couldn't they have had this excersize without scaling a peak?
Second: What evidence do you have that the Jesus character spoke Greek? Even if he existsted and spoke Greek, what evidence do you have that Jesus was familiar with the philosophy and science of the Greeks at the time?
Mark, this is the book where the verse came from. Jesus did not need Satan to take Him anywhere Jesus knew all about the world. Satan had to play his role as tempter, Satan wanted Jesus to take the world before the proper time. This was a spiritual battle, being on a mountain had little to do with this.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
