Well that's a pretty nihilistic view of the world.
The object of my life is to make the best of the life I have left on this planet, because as far as I am concerned, its the only life I have and I intend to enjoy as much of it as I can without harming others, and expect others not to harm me.

Stalin was the ruler of Russia during the second World War. As a communist state and the fact that atheism is a part of communism (please note, not the other way around) some religious people blame atheists for all the bad things Stalin and his regime did.
A bit like Nero blaming the Christians for starting the great fire in Rome.
I respect that you want to live a moral life, but what I don't get is what is the point in it when you die at the end. I feel so limited and out of control. Like all these wars in the world over oil and power, but at the end all of them die, so really there are no better than a drug addict on the street for both of them die as we all do. So really why the moral life, death comes when it comes and that's it, no more. A moral life is pointless as a destructive life.
