But I'm sure you wouldn't deny my precious dragon, now would you? and certainly you won't "deny" his existence? After all, he speaks to me. I know he will eat... whatever brains you have.
My conclusion is that there is no reason to believe any of the dogmas of traditional theology and, further, that there is no reason to wish that they were true.
