Where I currently live ... No one wants to have a proper conversation, really. It's all mindless chit-chat and bollocks. Or nothing at all. I feel quite alone in my area sometimes.

I find the same thing here where I live. If there are any substantive conversations at all, they are about just politics usually at quaint coffee shops by twenty-somethings whose loins ache for Che Guevara. My two favourite topics, philosophy and science, nobody ever wants to talk about.

Most people who use the word 'anti-social' mean it negatively.

In my books, it is a compliment—because I think the 'social' that's out there is worthy of being 'anti' about.
