Her books were a big part of our childhoods though, so it's understandable.
Meh I hate the Harry Potter books. She gets her ideas from so many other books it's unbelievable. But still, I'm not knocking what she's accomplished, whether I think she's a good writer or not she's still sold a shit load of books.
Personally I would of liked to have seen Tolkein get more recognition, Charles Dickens, Roald Dahl etc. They're much better authors.
