i don't think this ad will make anyone go run to buy tickets on amtrak, but it sits in your memory (like an effective ad campaign should) and next time you decide to take a train ride, maybe you remember this ad and choose amtrak because they were openly mindful of your way of life. so you decide to show your appreciation with your patronage.
