Seams rather weak. Do you think that the writers of any given text believing in magic actually means something, at least enough to make specific note of it? Perhaps you didn't know this..but once upon a time every tree had a dryad....
Not to mention that even if authentic the referenced passages were not written during the time which would cover the life of Jebus. That was after all the original question....
