True, and I am 100% behind studying these behaviors and trying to determine the triggers. To me, a society that buries its head and cries "evil bastards!", without so much as trying to determine the cause, stands to see the same behaviors repeated again and again. Same goes for pedophiles, sociopaths, murderers and any other members of society who make us feel icky. Locking them up and forgetting about them does not change anything. It's not a contagious disease, it's pandemic on a sociological scale. In these cases, prevention really is the only cure.
