Funny how perceptions differ.
Starship Troopers (the first only only) is one of my favourite movies. I've seen over 10 times.. A terrific satire on fascism , although I doubt that is what Heinlein intended.
I also like Paul Verhoeven's films. "Total Recall' is brilliant ,as is 'Black Book" ,a WW2 melodrama.

Agreed. I couldn't get into it. I kept thinking of 'Fahrenheit 451.'
