Resident Evil. Given that the game it was based on, or at least for me the first sequel, was a truly unnerving experience, what with all the unnatural fixed camera angles and the background soundscape, added to which the game was influenced heavily by George A Romero's classics - plus the trailers for the game were actually directed by the man himself - well, let's just say the film was vastly disappointing. Less survival horror, more shoot-em-up.
