Free will and the Christian God

You cannot have free will or God cannot be omniscient.
You have to choose between an apple an an orange. So if this all-knowing God knows you are going to pick the apple but you choose the orange you have just negated Gods omniscience. If you are unable to pick the orange then you have negated free will.

You are confused on the concept of free will and the application it has for mankind. The only true free will man has is the choice to love God or not to love Him, outside of that all bets are off, it's God's creation and He will deal with it as He sees fit for His righteousness. It's actually easy to see, God says He has won, Satan is defeated, and He has redeemed His creation ie. mankind.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
