Actually i thought that non-believers going to hell was quite a important part of the Christian faith ( or it certainly was , before science proved most of the bible was nonsense and Christians have to pick and choose what they believe to try and make sense of it)

As to non believers going to hell, I think that owes more to middle ages turn or burn, do what we say or be damned type theology than anything in the bible.
