Elizabeth Warren is probably the most intelligent economic leader in government. She has been very crititcal of the recent republican policies, since neo-cons cannot argue against her ideas themselves they resort to assinate her character with baseless attacks.

She was told she was a native american all her life, The New England Historical Genealogical Society said that it cannot be proven whether she is, or is not native american. She never once used it to apply for any program or to get a better job............. In fact, considering the time she grew up in, it's almost retarded to suggest being a minority helped her in any way

Republicans nationally are using this to "kill two birds with one stone" they get to attack elizabeth warren's economic policies by calling her a "liar", as well as attacking" affirmative action". Also fueling this racist myth that white people are disenfranchised and it's easier to be a non-white in America.

The lie goes like this..............even though obama was born too a poor family during a time, when black people couldn't even vote, and interracial marriage was still illegal in many states, he had an easieer life then a multi-millionare senator's son, who went to an elementary school, who's tuition was double what the average american makes in a year...... just because he's black and black people get everything and the only reason why they're poor is because they (as a race) are degenerates and parasites

Asked about the controversy following a speech in Boston on Wednesday, Brown said of Warren: "I think she needs to answer the questions that are still lingering out there."

The story first surfaced last week when the Herald found a 1996 article in Harvard's student newspaper, the Harvard Crimson, about student dissatisfaction about the number of women and minority professors on the Harvard Law faculty. In the story, Harvard Law spokesman Mike Chmura referred to Warren as Native American.

Warren said on Friday that she was unaware Harvard had promoted her as a minority professor and Charles Fried, the professor who recruited Warren to Harvard, said any suggestion that she got her job in part because of a claim of minority status was "totally stupid, ignorant, uninformed and simply wrong."

A Massachusetts genealogist said he uncovered evidence that Warren's great-great-great grandmother had listed herself as Cherokee in an 1894 document.

Harvard Law professor Charles Fried, who had served as Solicitor General in the Reagan administration and sat on the appointing committee that recommended Warren for hire in 1995, said that her heritage was never mentioned and played no role in the appointments process.

The Brown campaign called on Warren to "come clean about her motivations for making these claims and explain the contradictions between her rhetoric and the record". Warren's campaign responded that she was proud of her heritage and denied any wrongdoing. Warren said she had not received any preferential treatment due to her claimed Native American heritage, and stated, "Every single person who has been involved in hiring me has issued a statement to that effect."
