One of our not-so-esteemed members keeps sugar coating christianity's infamous Hell.

There isn't any sugar going onto anything. If the truth be known I am taking the reality of Hell, and placing the responsiablity of it squarly on your own shoulders and removing the victim status you have awarded yourself.

To me the reality that God is only honoring the desision you made through the course of your life takes the sugar off the whole idea that "I'm a moral person and only an immoral God would condemn me to Hell for all of the 'good' that I have done."

The reason you may ask? To save face. There's no way to defend such a self-absorbed vindictive narcissistic god while he's tossing people into hell by the billions. Even his own son, JC himself, speaks of hell over 70 times in the New Testament.

I have never denied the reality of Hell. Matter of fact I even posted of my experience there. Where i speak of the reality of the horrors and my interpertation of what the orginal language was not strong enough to convey. i have never soften the blow of Hell. I only put the responsiablity of it back onto those who choose it.

Why start this thread you may ask?
I'm really sick and tired of hearing christians continually tell me how their god is so full of love,

I did another thread explaining how this doctrine was wrong as well. That God did not love everyone equally and that his love was reserved to those who love Him. The rest He respects enough to honor what they have choosen for themselves.

and that it is I who is choosing to go to hell for the crime of being born.

If I remember correctly you have stated that you have choosen Hell because God was not up to your "Moral" standards.

Hell is the absents of Creation. All that God created is what you have turned your back on. God didn't 'create' Hell. Hell is the Darkness in which Creation was call out from. It is the opposite of Creation and the furthest one can get from God.

One would have to be exceptionally impaired to buy this load of garbage.
As if being thrown into eternal torment can be compared to "not going home to god" or simply "breaking up." Bull shit. Jesus regularly threatens us with his daddy's hellfire.

Hell is emptyness. This emptyness this pitch dark tar like void consumes one like a fire would. meaning the panic and the emotional distress, the desperation to get away, all of the primal flight emotions magnified times 1000 is what it is like to be consumed by the nothingness. As you fall/tossed into this void and the light of creation dims you writhe in the nothingness being consumed by the pitch, you scream through your tightly chenched jaw at a frantic pace.(gnashing of teeth) Then you hear the screams and wails of the other members of Hell. just before the last light of creation is taken away, I realized that this panic this torment would be forever. Then the last little bit of creation is removed (your sanity or the ablity to maintain control over your own mind) and you are left as a primal scared frantic paniced lump...

I was pulled from this vision of Hell and was told that i would have my second chance, and that I only experienced what lies at the gates of hell, that their was much more to come.

God didn't 'create' Hell. Hell is the Darkness in which Creation was call out from.

Nope, your angry self-absorbed god built it and even most christians will cop to this fact.

Matthew 25:41

so how does any of this conflict with what I have told you?

My point here is I'm sick of hearing how full of love your god is and then trying to sell that by downplaying what your book of evil says about this "eternal separation."

Are you not eternally seperated from God in Hell?

Yes, you are not allowed to tell us we're going to hell, that's preaching, but don't sit here and use happy friendly words like "break up" and "no going home" just because you want to disguise the reality of who your god actually is ... a spoiled little boy with a flame thrower.

What i said was that you all seem to feel the need to break up with God. Meaning you want an emotionally justified arguement where you are left in a position of rightness. What I was saying is that you do not need to do this. Just spit in God's eye and stand on your convictions.
