That's assuming the F1 world will even be interested. It's a massive gamble. I think what people are complaining about is that there are plenty of other investments that would boost the economy, most in the short term which is what they need right now.

Because it seems like such a risky investment. There are other ways to increase tax receipts which have a good chance of succeeding...and they don't cost 100 million Euros either.
