Quite by chance, I was watching that exact video just last night, so when I saw the bastardised clip on the previous page, it was the first thing that popped into my head. If I was feeling mean, I'd say that only those with a vested interest in preserving simple beliefs would be so willingly taken in by simple editing tricks. In other words, such video clips as posted with no contextual framework, as on the previous page, feed into a deep-seated need to believe.
