As we know, god certainly can't cure all ills and neither can humans.

My point is that you can cure little to nothing. My point is that you can't stop an old woman from getting old, getting sick and dying. You don't want suffering in this life, but still, suffering comes.

My point is that there are higher powers than you in this universe that you're forced to surrender to.

My point is simple: atheists experience a higher power, if in no other way, by their suffering.
