Prayer not working

I am to understand you do. Ordinary people here doe the same ...it equals to a "Fuck you i don't care but I am to say these things because of my religion" Either way = they don't care and don't like you, the result is the same.

I don't know why you always expect the worse out of people. I guess life didn't treat you well, friend.

Besides, I believe that good words, even if you will go home and have a nice good night's sleep after saying those words, even without saying a prayer, is the right thing to do.
Besides, why would someone who doesn't like you nor care about you say such things at all?

You can be so simplistic when you wish to be can't you? That is what I was referring to. "Good Will~ Placebo Effect" have the same outcomes. Nothing tangible, nothing you could 'take to the bank'

From what I know, the placebo effect is in effect if you believe that this particular thing that you've received is going to help you recover.
Not every person believes that prayer will cure a man, but might simply take it as a good word. And I don't think that's enough in itself to cause the effect.
