This is a big part of why I voted for Obama last time. If Romney is elected this time my strategy will have been successful.

I strongly urge you to vote for Obama again, in order to give Ryan a better chance in 2016, of course.

I would rather America eeek out 2-3 more decades of relative viability and stability under democrats, so I may profit from it, then to let Republicans collapse it into an unducated farce of a kleptocracy by casino barons, cutthroat arm dealers, and oily teleevengelists within my life time.

The deluge is inevitable. The main economic and demographic current of the world would not permit the relative puny United States to retain such a position as to safeguard the propserity it has become accustomed to, and America is doing little to shore up such fundamentals as it can to prolong its tenure as a power of influence. Democrates would rather we do just a small inadaquate amount more, Republicans would rather we pray and shout jingoistic slogans, while doing nothing substantive whatsoever and giving what we have left to a few kleptocratic barons so they can build 90,000 square foot house they call "The Versaille". Either way it is coming. I rather it come after me.
