But eitherway If soceity says a person owes X for a crime and that person pays X then I am willing to work with them even if I personally do not think X was a just payment. Matter of fact I employed a sex offender who went through what you have outlined and he said it was a joke. The only people who these punishments affect are those who have standing or items in the community to loose. The majority who turn to children for sex are on the fringes of soceity anyway. So to loose the potential for social standing means little to nothing especially when the 'pay out' for them is so large.(November 19, 2012 at 9:54 am)Drich Wrote: Then you do not understand Biblical Christianity.
Whether or not she is a real Christian is between her and God. Christianity is not the state of actualy leading a sinless life. No, we are all still subject to sin, as we are slaves to sin. Where the difference lies is that God offers redemption for sin we repent of. Not say sorry, but a true turning and repentance.
That said, I think she needs to be hung by her thumbs, and beaten till she can leave the kids out of her sex life. But again that is just me.
I was thinking of incarceration, followed by corrective therapy which also gives psychologists a chance to study what causes this type of behavior, then onto a sex offenders list for her. But if you think hanging her by her thumbs and beating her is a better way to achieve something useful from her punishment, by all means, go right ahead.
This lady is obviously different, I would think this would proably have a different effect than it did for the guy i hired.
