3. There are plenty of things I'd -like- to believe about human nature..lol, but as with both of the above, nothing I can really claim belief in.
4. Same as 3.
5. By both searching for it, and subjecting it to scrutiny- endlessly.
6. Gut feeling until I'm pressed.
7. It means "the past", or sometimes "the study of the past".
8. None.
