Even better... There's a place where I used to love to hike into and camp, maybe 50 miles to the east as the crow flies - a wilderness plateau at ~6000' elevation along the crest of the Cascade range, dotted with countless lakes and meadows.
One of my fondest memories is sleeping out under the stars (no tent needed in the dry August summer air), with nothing but a down sleeping bag and a small warming fire. The skies are truly dark all the way down to where the treeline blocks the view of the horizon. On a moonless night, you can clearly make out the trees, the meadow, and the lake by starlight alone.
It's a truly magical place.

What, in the Andromeda galaxy?
LOL, I wish. No, she ended up in our rural home. I got the mortgage as a consolation.
