IT IS A MONEY ISSUE, and gun manufacturer's have no fucking interest in creating mental, social, or economic stability. More crime and more fear means they can keep their market and expand their market. So when say the "Bushmaster" company CEO votes, they don't just vote for "gun rights", they vote against any policies that might reduce stress, depression, domestic abuse, street violence. Keep the fear keep the crime, and gun sales go up.
YOU play right into these monopolists hands by saying "guns are not the problem". YES THEY ARE, they are the prop in the bullies hands that allow the bully to maintain their monopoly. YOU allow them to set the tone of the conversation.
And please spare me you went from "It aint so bad here" to "We are average" still does not make the number of gun deaths acceptable. Again, tell that to the Fire fighters. Tell that to Trevon Martin, tell that to the families of Sandy Hook. Tell that to ANY person who has a family member affected by a gun assault or gun death.
