I just reread my source a rape is reported to the police every 20 minutes in India.
The unreported number is probably higher.
Well, the debate on the financial side should not be held from my point of view. Because no one has the right to put a value on a human life.
The question should be if a community has the right to kill one of it`s members, in it`s name.
And there I clearly say no.

No one is assuming that there won't be a "fair trial" and due process. I am focusing on keeping said convicted alive for 20+ years as opposed to a death penalty.
