Quote:The discussions may take a very long time. But if we came to an agreement that there is a Creator who has created the universe, then we can move to the second question[...]Well this one doesn't apply to me then, since you said this only applies if I "agree with" the first question.
2- Should we worship the Creator of the universe or not?[...]
Furthermore, how would I be a "Secular person" if I agreed with question 1? Isn't that the biggy when discussing with "secular people"? And if they, like myself, don't agree with that one, then the other 2 questions are redundant...
Quote:If we came to an agreement that we should worship the Creator of the universe, then we can move to the third question:No agreement here - I don't even agree with 1. That's why I'm a "Secular person".
I'm an atheist, which means...I don't believe in God. These here, you see, are atheist forums. So...there's quite a few atheists here: So since atheists don't agree with your first question - by definition - then lets concentrate on that...first question...before jumping the gun yeah?
Quote:3- Have you made a comparison between Islam and other doctrines?[/size]
Well a lot of doctrines aren't even religious ones. And yes I make a comparison in the sense Islam is a different doctrine to, for instance, "Christianity"...however: Like Christianity, and like all other religions: They all have something in common...The complete lack of evidence and the - therefore - need for "Faith" in order to believe in their bullshit.
