Atheists should hate mainstream Christianity. If they do that means we are doing it right.
If you mean they find Christians hypocritical, then that is real. Fisrtly, they lack understanding that being a Christian is an aim to be like Christ. There is no magic cure. People remain human.
Also people are indeed hypocrites.
