I agree with not doing these things until puberty, but that's because I would want the person to experience (for a small while) what it is that they are wanting rid of... only acting after their decision (and to be sure it very clearly is their decision).
But *regardless*, if castrating them fulfills the goal they want to fill... I'd see that they get a chance to do so. After their sex drive activates is a preference of mine, but then: I'd also prefer they have sex before they say what they want with sex. Sometimes, reality comes by and shits on everything we believe
Mind... even before puberty, if they express *enough* interest in the subject for a long enough period of time: I'll let someone hang themself with their own decision. I don't have to agree with someone to stand aside... only to respect them.
