You know, of all the numerous Roman Emperors, Vespasian was one of my favourites since as you say, he was by what we know of him one of the actually hardworking and decent Emperors. Even his Domitian, who was considered the crueler of his two sons who followed him is having his reputation altered a little because his rule consolidating the power of the empire.

True, and in fairness to Odin he's almost always occupied that kind of watchful-old-God who transpires to always be watching from the background... and he usually actually was, since he liked to come down to Midgard in various guises.
