Bad stuff happens in the name of good stuff all the time. I'm sure you wouldn't want to stop people trying to be good because of that?
I contest it being a "good thing". Anything good that can be done does not require a gods permission to do. I'd sooner have people take responsibility for actions that are theirs, and not attribute actions to gods and humans based on how much good those actions do
If you believe it, question it. If you question it, get an answer. If you have an answer, does that answer satisfy reality? Does it satisfy you? Probably not. For no one else will agree with you, not really.
