This would help members to trust each other even more. We could easily separate trolls from normal members this way,....
I don't think this forum needs to reinstate the negative reputation system. The neutral is a bit idiotic in itself.
The negative reputation just gives those who are already negative a new weapon.
Reading the threads in this forum, and taking note of the attitudes atheists possess, the negativity speaks for itself.
Some of the most vile, immoral, trash talking, lowlife scum of the earth post in these forums. And they claim to be atheists.
I've browsed fundy xtian forums and there isn't the degree of hate there that there is amid atheists here.
When a group of people become unhinged and enter into a flame war against someone who has morals, the negative reputation option is redundant. The negative reputation those certain atheists here give this forum speaks on board and across the net.
Theists might be deluded, but the atheists that post in this forum are sociopathic.
If that's what holding faith in nothing creates in a human psyche, one is better served if they worship the floor, than to end up like certain posters in this forum.
So don't worry about needing a way to identify the trolls. Most everyone on this forum that claims they're an atheist, are!
You seem to have made quite a few sweeping generalisations and nasty accusations there yourself. Pot calling the kettle black, or what? You can't be expecting all atheists to be respectful and nicey-nicey either, because that is unrealistic.
The crap I read every day about real world atrrocities and injustices, caused by religious belief, absolutely makes my blood boil. I personally find it almost impossible to respect any theists.
Before making any more anti-atheist forum member rants, perhaps you should first establish your own credentials on here a little more. You are entitled to your view but I don't know enough about you yet for me to consider your opinion to be authoritative on accused members.
Furthermore, in my opinion, there is a high proportion of brilliant thinkers and arguers on this forum - people who I agree with and couldn't hope to get close to, in expressing what I want to convey.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.
