Another one of those damn TTA-ers

This introduction thread has taken an unforeseen turn into the land of TMI.



I've thought of joining TTA, though they smell somewhat priggish. I started brainstorming a name to use the other day, and couldn't get myself to commit to any one particular name. (Why does a board with such a lax policy toward member disruption have a rule against sock puppets? It makes no sense. Of course, the only forum I've been on in which socks were freely allowed did not tend to attract trolls and abusers, and those that did show up were teased and mocked mercilessly until finally storming off in a huff.) So, given my name problem, I may be there in 6-7 months. (Though the appearance of rats deserting a ship leaves me reluctant to hop on the gangplank.)
