Paul's genuine epistles are only one of the many views on Jesus at the time. Why should I trust him over any of the other legitimate beliefs on Jesus? The fact that some people so easily believed that Jesus was only a spirit and not flesh really highlights the weakness in Jesus' story, because how could you possibly not realise your bloody Messiah is preaching from town to town?!
