It is the product of a deity, though I might argue that it is a deity, given the worship of angels and their supernatural abilities. They are not creators, but lesser gods in a sense? Surely.

Well, maybe he isn't, but the bulk of our resident historians and history buffs do make that claim and with damn good reason.
