This is one that I captured on January 4, 2011, and was dumbfounded as to how to process it because of the high dynamic range and the subtle color variations. It really has been a challenge. But I think I finally got it to look similar to what the big boys are producing. This crop of the master image is 65 minutes of total exposure at ISO 800. Taken at the Louisville Astronomical Society James Baker Center of Astronomy, in Curby, Indiana.
