My apologies if it's my post that is misquoting you. I thought I had quoted what was you responding to another's comments.
No worries. I'm still learning to discern how these threads appear and from which person I am reading them from! I somehow posted my reply in the middle of another person's comments. We both had somewhat conflicted views and came accross self contradictory! I think i've got it down now. I love this place!

We ask you these same questions and you have no answers.
Quote:I had God show me through prophecies revealing every event in my life. I saw many, many experiences of God revealing every moment in which I had told the lie of atheism to others. This lasted for several months and it was confirmed by someone else.
You should have made an appointment with a psychologist. Something is wrong with your head.
Quote:What if actually there is a right way to live.
There is a right way to live: Be good to other people. Respect their desires as long as they do not interfere with your life. You don't need a god for that.
Quote:Do you know that you could ruin a child for the rest of their life?
Billions of children are being ruined by their parents and priests and reverends teaching them lies about humanity and the universe.
Quote:Really, what you are saying is far, far worst than molesting children. If you molest a child, it is a horrible thing, and they could get over it. But if you convince a children there is no right way to live, you are setting them up for a lifetime of sin and in the end they will go to hell.
Convincing a child that they are sinners bound for hell unless they abandon rational thinking and turn their hearts over to a genocidal monster like God is child abuse.
While all of what you said may be true, inspite of HOW ANGRY it appears : ) It doesn't provide any alternative to his suggestion and doesn't make him wrong. He may be crazy, it doesn't mean he's wrong. Priests may very well rape all sorts of little boys, and as awful as it may be, it doesn't make Catholisism wrong. You may think its messed up that God would send people to hell if they don't follow his word as the Christian faith does, but your opinion of it being messed up doesn't make his belief that such a thing is true...false. Construct an argument against his Argument. There are plenty of ways you can do it. He assumes that because morality can be objective for him it must be for everyone for all places at all times. This is a fallacy. Sniff it out!
