I tried to find this story in english somewhere, but I miserably failed.
The UN general assembly past an act which enshrined the fact that all women have the same equal rights as men do, and that girls deserve the same protection as boys.
This legislature took a really damn long time to pass, because muslim nations seem to have united in trying to bring this down. The only non muslim nations opposing the motion were Russia and the Vatikan.
With the muslim brotherhood stating things such as:
"If women gain equal rights to men, sociaty itself will collapse"
One can clearly see how out of touvh with reallity and disconected with the rest of the world these sociaties are.
