The 6000 year old earth belief was started when one man added up all the years between generations in the Bible. I personally do not take this seriously, and the Bible never really gives any statement as to how old the Earth is. So, your argument is based on something a fringe theologian said which has been contested many times in the Christian religion.
And Adam and Eve had more than just two kids. One of those two killed the other, then he left his family to wander. So reproduction was left up to all the other children, who were both male and female. The Bible does not say how they reproduced, but it is assumed in polite society that the brothers took the sisters as their wives.
