But seriously my favorite weather is hot and humid, which is rare in England, But I like to imagine I'm in a jungle or something like they are in the TV series lost. Jungle weather, that's what I like.
You need to visit DC at the end of July or August. My husband is the same as you, loves the tropical climate... Me, not so much. We have battles over the AC.
My preferred weather is in the fall/winter, after a hard frost. It kills all the pollen and I can breathe again.
