The Greeks knew the Earth was spherical over a 1000 years before your profit and the word of God hit the scene. In fact, in the third century BCE, Eratosthenes gave a reasonable calculation for the circumference of the Earth. Your God's precision and power of description are severely wanting even by ancient standards.
